Bhedaghat is known for the Dhuandar Falls The Dhuandhar Falls are located on the Narmada River a huge cascade of water that falls from a height of 98 feet. Boating in Bhedaghat especially during the moonlit night would surely make up for an unforgettable experience. The boatmen of these place are storytellers that will tell you about the place in the form of interesting stories. Bhedaghat is a beautifull town in Jabalpur district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is situated by the side of river Narmada and is approximately 20 km from Jabalpur city. Bhedaghat is famous for the high marble rocks making a valley through which river Narmada flows. The place also has a beautiful waterfall, known as Dhuandhar Falls (literally meaning a stream of smoke, because of its appearance). There are some more spots of tourist interest near the location.The quaint town of Bhedaghat in Jabalpur district is popular with tourists for its misty Dhuandhar fall and colossal marble rocks. Another thing that equally attracts the tourists from all over the world is the incredible craft of marble sculpting that this place has to offer. Marble and stone moulding is a full-fledged business here. The sculptors shape the astonishing white marble into intricate deities and other quirky sculptures. Stones found in the bed of Narmada provide occupation to many carvers and their families.
